Today I went to the Sigmund-Thun-Klamm, Austria. An easy outing from Zell am See! Take the 660 Bus for about 20min from Zell am See Postplatz –> Kaprun Sigmund-Thun-Klamm. The admission is €6 and it’s a short and easy walk through the gorge. Click here for more details. There is also their Mystical Night of Water €10 and taking place every Monday at 20:00. We missed this because it sounded a bit cheesy, however after seeing the gorge during the day, I do believe seeing it at night lit up, would be very cool to see. Click here for more details.
I had the pleasure in staying in a private room (including shared kitchen, bathroom and many outdoor spaces) at Hostal Chesal in the historic center of San Luis Potosí🇲🇽 while rehearsing Gretel for 2 weeks. Despite the language barrier, I was instantly welcomed and made to feel as I was part of the family. This woman worked at the desk and would eat breakfast with me every morning and I enjoyed our chats. They would also offer me coffee, drinking water and occasionally even food for breakfast which was really above and beyond what I was expecting. As you can see from the photo, there were also murals adorns by every wall which highlighted Mexican culture. I absolutely loved the feel if the space! Everything circled around a courtyard and there were many additionally many beautiful outdoor spaces to use. I would highly recommend Hostal Chesal if you happen to find yourself in San Luis Potosí!
