I was so happy to spend the past 2 days in Vienna with my beautiful 9-month-old goddaughter, Leona!

As I have now started singing heavier repertoire, it’s very nice to hear back from an audition for Zerlina, I had back in June, that I have been cast as Donna Elvira! This is such a surprise since I tailored this audition specifically for Zerlina, singing Batti, batti o bel, Masetto and the audition panel requesting O mio babbino caro. Very much looking forward to challenging myself with this new role! And this will also mark my completion of performing all 3 of Giovanni’s ladies: Zerlina, Donna Anna and now Donna Elvira 💋💋💋. Stay tuned for more information, once everything has been confirmed and finalized.
I love to have healthy options that I can prep for the week. This frittata is one of my favorites! You can also prepare for a brunch with friends and family. You can put practically any vegetable that you have in your fridge inside. I hope you enjoy this as much as I do!
-¾ cup milk (180 mL)
-½ teaspoon salt
-½ teaspoon pepper
-½ teaspoon garlic powder
-½ cup broccoli floret, chopped (300 g)
-½ red onion (or chopped green onions)
-1 medium potato, microwaved and then chopped
My family is still in Vienna, so I took them (minus my dad, who stayed home to watch CNN 😉) on a hike with a Facebook group. Everything is pretty much shut down in Vienna on Sundays, so it nice to have a group to meet on lonely Sundays. We took the train a bit outside Vienna and met at St. Andrä-Wördern Station and from there we hiked to the Hagenbachklamm, a gorge. This gorge, along the river Hagenbach, is 1.3Km long and in the woods which provides plenty of shade, perfect for a summer since it’s significantly cooler.
Highest Point: 388m
Hiking time: ca. 4H30m
